The Sixth Convention and 11th Annual General Assembly of Sewak Nepal was successfully held on Saturday, Poush 26, 2082 (BS) at Sunrise Café & Banquet Hall, Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
The program was chaired by the President of the organization, Mr. Yagya Prasad Chaulagain, and graced by the honorable chief guest, Mr. Laxman Lamsal. The event witnessed the remarkable presence of more than 150 campaigners along with distinguished personalities from various sectors of society.
Open Session
The first (open) session commenced with an attractive welcome dance performed by the children of the organization.
Former President Mr. Shiva Bhatt delivered the welcome speech, extending heartfelt greetings to all guests and dignitaries present.
The program was jointly conducted by the General Secretary Mr. Keshav Sapkota and Secretary Mr. Shriram Kshetri. Several distinguished personalities expressed their best wishes during the session.
On this occasion, four long-serving campaigners (with over 10 years of contribution) who were present at the event were honored. Likewise, eight children were awarded the title “Best Children of the Year” and were presented with medals and certificates of appreciation.
Closed Session
During the second (closed) session, the President, Treasurer, and the Coordinator of the Audit Committee presented the annual and financial reports.
According to the financial report for the fiscal year 2081/082 (from Shrawan 1, 2081 to Ashad 31, 2082), the total income was NPR 4,543,770.10, total expenditure was NPR 4,154,102.32, and the total savings amounted to NPR 389,667.78.
After unanimous approval of all reports, an 11-member Executive Committee and a 3-member Audit Committee were unanimously elected.
Special Contribution and Announcement
As informed by Mr. Surya Prasad Tiwari, Headmaster of Surya Jyoti Basic School and an active campaigner of Sewak Nepal, Mr. Buddha Gautam contributed NPR 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Rupees) to establish an endowment fund named “Ganga Prasad–Khadgamaya Endowment Fund” in memory of his late parents.
Additionally, five new individuals were officially affiliated as campaigners of Sewak Nepal during the program.

सेवक नेपालको छैटौं अधिवेशन तथा ११ औं वार्षिक साधारणसभा मिति २०८२ पौष २६ गते शनिबार, मध्य बानेश्वर, काठमाडौंस्थित सनराइज क्याफे एण्ड बैंक्वेट हलमा भव्य रूपमा सम्पन्न भएको छ।
संस्थाका अध्यक्ष श्री यज्ञ प्रसाद चौलागाईं ज्युको सभापतित्व तथा माननीय श्री लक्ष्मण लम्साल ज्युको प्रमुख आतिथ्यतामा सम्पन्न उक्त कार्यक्रममा समाजका विशिष्ट व्यक्तित्वहरू सहित संस्थाका १५० भन्दा बढी अभियन्ताहरूको उल्लेखनीय उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।
खुल्ला सत्र
कार्यक्रमको पहिलो (खुल्ला) सत्र संस्थाका नानीबाबुहरूको आकर्षक स्वागत नृत्यबाट प्रारम्भ भएको थियो। त्यसपछि संस्थाका पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्री शिव भट्ट ज्युद्वारा स्वागत मन्तव्य प्रस्तुत गर्दै सम्पूर्ण अतिथि तथा महानुभावहरूलाई हार्दिक स्वागत व्यक्त गरिएको थियो।
कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन संस्थाका महासचिव श्री केशव सापकोटा तथा सचिव श्री श्रीराम क्षेत्री ज्युद्वारा संयुक्त रूपमा गरिएको थियो। उपस्थित विभिन्न व्यक्तित्वहरूले शुभकामना मन्तव्य व्यक्त गर्नुभएको थियो।
यस अवसरमा संस्थामा १० वर्षभन्दा बढी समयदेखि निरन्तर योगदान पुर्याउँदै आउनुभएका अभियन्ताहरूमध्ये उपस्थित ४ जना अभियन्तालाई विशेष सम्मान प्रदान गरिएको थियो। साथै संस्थाका ८ जना नानीबाबुहरूलाई “Best Children of the Year” उपाधि प्रदान गर्दै मेडल तथा सम्मानपत्रद्वारा सम्मानित गरिएको थियो।
बन्द सत्र
दोस्रो (बन्द) सत्रमा संस्थाका अध्यक्ष, कोषाध्यक्ष तथा लेखा समितिका संयोजक ज्युद्वारा वार्षिक तथा आर्थिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत गरिएको थियो।
आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/०८२ (२०८१ श्रावण १ गतेदेखि २०८२ असार ३१ गतेसम्म) को विवरणअनुसार कुल आम्दानी रु. ४५,४३,७७०.१०, कुल खर्च रु. ४१,५४,१०२.३२ तथा रु. ३,८९,६६७.७८ बचत भएको जानकारी गराइएको थियो।
सम्पूर्ण प्रतिवेदनहरू सर्वसम्मत रूपमा पारित भएपछि ११ सदस्यीय नयाँ कार्यसमिति तथा ३ सदस्यीय लेखा समिति सर्वसम्मत रूपमा चयन गरिएको थियो।
विशेष सहयोग तथा घोषणा
नवनिर्वाचित कार्यसमिति समक्ष श्री सूर्य ज्योति आधारभूत विद्यालयका प्रधानाध्यापक तथा सेवक नेपालका सक्रिय अभियन्ता श्री सूर्य प्रसाद तिवारी ज्युद्वारा जानकारी गराइएअनुसार बुद्ध गौतम ज्युले आफ्ना स्वर्गीय माता–पिताको स्मृतिमा “गंगा प्रसाद–खड्गमाया अक्षयकोष” मार्फत रु. १,००,००० (एक लाख रुपैयाँ) अक्षयकोष स्थापना गर्न सहयोग प्रदान गर्नुभएको थियो।
साथै, यसै अवसरमा ५ जना विभिन्न व्यक्तित्वहरू सेवक नेपालका अभियन्ताका रूपमा आवद्ध हुनुभएको थियो।
