On 26th Shrawan 2082 (10th August 2025), Sewak Nepal celebrated its 11th Foundation Day by organizing a special program at its own children’s home. The event, titled “Exchange of Best Wishes and Activist Felicitation Ceremony”, was chaired by the President of Sewak Nepal, Mr. Yagya Prasad Chaulagain (Ram), while the Honorable Laxman Lamsal, Member of Bagmati Province Assembly, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony witnessed the remarkable presence of members of the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, Advisory Committee, activists, and well-wishers.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Hon. Lamsal, expressed his commitment to continue playing the role of guardian for the institution. He further announced that the construction of the remaining compound wall will be completed in the coming fiscal year through government budget allocation. On this occasion, activists who have dedicated more than a decade of service to the institution were honored with appreciation and respect by his hands.

During his address, President Chaulagain remarked:
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude and salute to all the dedicated activists who envisioned and established this institution ten years ago. With the initiation of a few noble-hearted individuals, this campaign has now grown into a national movement, bringing together more than 300 patriotic Nepalis as activists — a matter of pride for all of us.”

Currently, Sewak Nepal’s central office is located in Chabahil, Kathmandu, while its children’s home is operated in Mandan Deupur Municipality–9, Kavrepalanchok, providing care, protection, and education to 37 children.

The organization aims to develop this children’s home into a model institution in Nepal and has set a vision to expand its services by establishing similar homes in other regions as needed. Furthermore, Sewak Nepal has introduced a practical education system based on the principle of “3 Ks” – Skills, Capacity, and Action, with the mission of nurturing its children into moral, responsible, and proud citizens of the nation.

In conclusion, President Chaulagain called upon all patriotic youths to join hands in this noble campaign and contribute to making it a movement of national pride.
